It's an addiction that is as strong as hard drugs. When coupled with hard drugs it's an addiction that becomes all but impossible to overcome. Only with the help of Christ can o e overcome something so powerful. Thank you Jesus
Yeah, porn is a "hard-core" addiction. I (and this is my personal opinion) believe it is much worse than conventional drug use (hard or not), and the reason I say that is because it's what I called in the article a "silent-addiction". There aren't any apparent indications by the addict that they are hooked. So, it's much easier to continue in it without being caught or having intervention. Satan loves these kinds of addictions. It's easier for him to steal, kill and destroy the addict with addictions that are easily disguised.
And you are absolutely right in saying that the Only One that can save, restore and regenerate is God Almighty! There is power, power, wonder working power!!! Just like the old hymn. Amen to that!!!

The fact that porn is so prevalent in our society coupled with the fact that it’s increasingly being pushed on our youth is spiritually devastating. Hi Heather! Thanks for the encouragement. Though I can't say why the Lord allows certain things to happen to us in our lives, I know that He always turns it for good. As it says in Romans 8:28 " And we know that in ALL THINGS God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose." He's got this!
I really don't think that our churches, let alone our society realizes the intrinsic danger and evil that comes along with porn. Too bad that most churches—and I mean most—don't address this issue. It's probably one of, if not the least popular subject to talk about. Lots of leaders and pastors in churches have a porn addiction and that's why it's not a hot topic item.

The Church should also address the horrors of "gender disphoria" which is now seen as compassion. People, including children, repulsed by their natural, God-given bodies. It's a horror and the Church is an enabler; hanging flags pushing the agenda.
The situation with sexual sin within the church is at critical levels. Porn is being used by many married couples within the church as well. It is ruining marriages, yet it is not being addressed. We must keep praying and being bold about Jesus in all things! Blessings.

People are even uploading private videos of sex with their wives secretly, without consent. Porn is a blight on humanity.
