This world we are traveling through is a dark place—but the good news is we have the light of Christ dwelling within us! In this video, I’m briefly sharing some thoughts on John 1:4-5 that says:
“In Him was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines on in the darkness, and the darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriate it or absorb it [and is unreceptive to it].” AMP
and Psalm 119:105:
“Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.” NKJV
about how Jesus is our light and how His Word helps guide our steps and so much more.
As believers, we’re also called to reflect that light to others who are still in darkness. We are also commanded by Jesus to:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”” NKJV
When we stay close to Him and His truth, we become a light that makes a real difference in a dark world.
