SOCIAL MEDIA BANKING

How The Numbers Became The Currency In The Church

The church has a banking problem. Not with money in the offering plate — with people. We’ve started investing in platforms instead of character, booking the big accounts instead of the faithful ones, and quietly teaching a generation of kids that the number under your name is what makes you worth following. I call it social media banking. And it’s costing us more than we know.

Because here’s what the kids actually learn when we put the famous over the faithful: that being known and being godly are the same thing. They’re not. They never were. The cure isn’t a better influencer — it’s the one influence that never falls, never gets cancelled, and never fails. Turn the feed off. Open the Book. That’s the whole prescription, and it’s available to every one of us, no following required.

Grateful you’re here.

— Pablo

GOSPEL CARDS: PLANT A SEED!

If you’d like to get your hands on the gospel cards that we produce, please go HERE, fill out the form and let me know how many you’d like—for free!

My only request is that you’d cover the cost of shipping.

If you feel led to support beyond the cost of shipping to help offset the costs of production (printing, ink, labels, etc.), we would be blessed. But if you cannot, we’ll still send them your way!

Thanks for reading Serpents & Doves®!
