Discernment Fatigue

Why knowing more isn’t helping us think clearer

We’re living in a moment where information is constant, urgency is assumed, and clarity feels harder to come by than it used to. Many believers aren’t confused because they don’t care or because they’ve checked out — they’re worn down because they’ve been trying to keep up. News, commentary, and especially prophecy-related content now arrive with the same volume and intensity, often framed as urgent and critical, even when much of it isn’t. Over time, that pace wears on the mind and makes it harder to tell the difference between what truly matters and what’s just noise.

In this first episode of A Slower, Clearer Way Forward, we slow things down and name what’s really happening beneath the surface. We talk honestly about discernment fatigue, the pressure to stay constantly informed, and how end-times prophecy has often been turned into a frenzy that replaces trust with urgency. More importantly, we re-anchor ourselves in what Scripture makes clear: Jesus Christ is in control, nothing is catching Him by surprise, and faithfulness doesn’t require living on edge. This episode is an invitation to step back, regain clarity, and return to a steadier, more biblical way forward.
