Persevere! The Finish Line Is In Sight

Updated: Mar 15, 2023

The closer we get to the soon departure of the Church through the rapture of the Church, I have noticed the utter uphill struggle strong believers are having just trying to endure minute by minute, hour by hour, and day by day. Personally, I felt guilty for feeling this way and earnestly prayed for peace that seems to elude me. It seems the overwhelming nature of the circumstances we endure everyday outweigh any breaks or relief we desire or are granted. “But GOD”.

For those that can relate to what I am writing, I offer the following verses in an effort to provide some comfort and hope:

"But the seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with perseverance." —Luke 8:15

"to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life;" —Romans 2:7

"And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;" —Romans 5:3

"and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;" —Romans 5:4

"But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it." —Romans 8:25

"For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope." —Romans5:14

"With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints," —Ephesians 6:18

"therefore, we ourselves speak proudly of you among the churches of God for your perseverance and faith in the midst of all your persecutions and afflictions which you endure." —2 Thessalonians 1:4

Finally, I provide the following verse for encouragement and exhortation to each of you to pray these words back to God for yourself and our like minded bothers and sisters.

"Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus," —Romans 15:5

For those who have not yet been sealed by God, I implore you today to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved!
