In this great sit down with Pastor Brandon Holthaus of Rock Harbor Church, Bakersfield, California, we address the question of "what on earth happened to the church?". We got a chance to address the issue of apostasy in the church, issues such as determinism, fatalism, Augustinianism, german higher criticism, the seeker friendly movement and much more.
This is a informational and eye opening sit down. Let's face it, the church is in a very perilous position. The way I see it, if the church is sick and waning, so is the condition of our society. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that we are now living in the days that Isaiah prophesied so long ago where right is wrong and wrong is right. Woe to those that say that! Well, the church is now going along and endorsing the ways of the world.
As I already mentioned, Brandon Holthaus serves as the Senior Pastor of Rock Harbor Church in Bakersfield, California. He is married to his High School sweetheart and they have 3 children. He holds many degrees and has a very great and deep understanding of the Bible. Brandon's areas of emphasis are prophecy, discernment (which we need a lot more of these days), apologetics, Jewish culture and background and Biblical worldview polemics. He also does a weekly prophecy update as well that you can view via the church website or the church's YouTube channel.
