From Nephilim To Anti-Christ To Trumpets!
How could there still be Nephilim now if everyone got wiped out during the Noah's flood? Where will the final anti-Christ come from? Does it really matter?
Why a Q&A?
In January of this year, I had the privilege of speaking at Pastor Jason's church in New Mexico called Sunshine Church. They are an amazing group of believers. They are loving, humble, friendly, welcoming, and most of all: They love the Lord. It was an amazing time of fellowship with so many like-minded believers. The family over at Sunshine Church made me and my family feel just that...like part of the family! I gave a message about hope. Something we can all use these days. Right?
At the end of the message we opened it up for a quick Q&A, but needless to say, time ran out quickly. So we decided to take questions from the congregation and answer them via podcast. That's exactly what we have done here. We were given 5 questions that we could (hopefully) answer in the time we had today.
What Kind Of Questions Can You Expect Answered?
The very first question was something along the lines of: "Is it possible that the Nephilim will be active during the Tribulation/Daniel's 70th week?" Well, while that may seem like a simple "yes" or "no" answer, Pastor Jason and I really took the time to shed some light on this topic that is often not addressed when it comes to end-time Bible prophecy.
The Bible says that all of the people were killed during the Flood of Noah, right? Well, if that's the case, how is it possible that Nephilim still exist today, let alone able to operate during the Tribulation? This is a question that a lot of Bible teachers and pastors have been asked in one way or the other. And it's an honest question. It is a question that I used to ask myself when I was a teenager. Simply put, we find the answer to whether the Nephilim existed "before" and "after" the Flood in Genesis 6:4, which says:
“There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.”
(To hear the rest of the answer, you’ll have to watch the podcast!)
Another question we broach is one that I’m sure most of us have not only asked ourselves, but, have heard it asked by many others as well: “Where will the final anti-Christ come from? Does it matter? What does the Word of God say about it? There are many opinions and views as to its answer.
Pastor Jason and I had a wonderful time as we sat down together and answered some really great questions. Questions that are on the minds of many believers, especially in light of the times we are in and the knowledge that the time of the end is near.
However, we must all remember what 2 Peter 1:20 says:
“knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation,”
Basically, don't take man's word for anything, but in all things go back to the Word of God and make sure it's so because that's the only source that matters. I love what Matthew Henry's commentary has to say about this passage in the Word of God. Here is what he says:
“The encouragement the apostle gives us to search the scriptures. He tells us, We do well if we take heed to them; that is, apply our minds to understand the sense, and our hearts to believe the truth, of this sure word, yea, bend ourselves to it, that we may be moulded and fashioned by it…Observe, no scripture prophecy is of private interpretation (or a man’s own proper opinion, an explication of his own mind), but the revelation of the mind of God.”1
I hope and pray that you will be blessed and challenged to take it back to the Scriptures and see what the Word of God says about it. It will not only bless you in your personal quiet time with the Lord. It will also sharpen your "sword of the Spirit" so that when the time comes to use it, it will be ready!
In addition, Pastor Jason and I would love to hear from you with any other questions that you may have. Please write them in the comments section. We will answer them as best we can. However, we reserve the right to say 'I don't know'...but we will find the answer in the Word and get back to you! What do you think?
May you be blessed in your quiet times with the Lord. He is faithful and true! One of my favorite verses is found in Jeremiah 33:3. The Lord specifically says:
“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’”
Call upon Him as you read the Word of God! Ask the Holy Spirit to show you great and mighty things that you do not know...He will, and your time with Him will be immeasurably enriched.

Hello friend, I’m new on here and I’m trying to connect with interesting people.
We seem to have similar interests so I thought I’d introduce myself with an article.
This is my most recent piece, and it’s about Giants:
